Vote Report Pakistan ( votereport.pk ) is an interactive and collaborative citizen-driven election monitoring platform for Pakistan general elections.

www.votereport.pk is setup with an ambition to strengthen democracy and democratic institutions in Pakistan by building the capability of and instituting
non-partisan monitoring framework for the elected representatives and legislatures while facilitating greater participation of all segments of the society
in the democratic process and development of new political leadership.

At Vote Report Pakistan we are committed, we can contribute for a stronger and real democracy.

At Vote Report Pakistan, users contribute by direct SMS, email, and web based reports in violation of the proposed Model Code of Conduct for General Election 2007/08 by PILDAT.
The platform will then aggregate these direct reports with news reports, blog posts, photos, videos and tweets related to the elections from all relevant
sources, in one place, on an interactive map.

We are hoping that vote Report Pakistan (www.votereport.pk ) will not only increase transparency and accountability in the Pakistan election process,
but also provide the most complete picture of public opinion in Pakistan during the elections.

Vote Report Pakistan is independent all-volunteer collaboration between software developers, designers, journalists, academics, and other professionals
to being transparency to the upcoming elections in Pakistan.

Vote Report Pakistan is powered by two open source non-profit projects i-e Ushahidi & SwifitRiver. Ushahidi is an award winning platform that crowd-sources
crisis information. SwiftRiver is a platform that makes sense of multiple sources of information in a fast-changing crisis situation.
